truCulentEnigma - If This Is Your Best Shot Okra?

"If This Is Your Best Shot Okra?" is a response to my surroundings, both inner and outer at a particluar time at the beginning of the summer in 2007. Its got joy, love, happiness threading through it. Also I had been through some doors I knew I needed to open, as well as some I wish had been locked and If This Is Your Best Shot Okra? is the sound of me slap bang in the middle of those moments. Its a kind of soundtrack and if others get off on it, can relate to the tones, the resonance, spaces and trance-like rumble and thunder or whatever then thats cool. Document it all. Soundtracks are important I think, especially in the crazy image-heavy world we interact with and create in. Dont forget the power that sound plays in our lives.

Ayankoko!!! - Sakda Sissi

Ok, so with sakda sissi, first i wanted to put the listener in a kind of sound anestaesis with deep long ambient sounds where you can feel cyclic frequencies as a rythm comp: second, there's playing with free broken noises and beats.
It is not a prepared recording, it is a whole one-take session.
Ayankoko!!! In this project, i try to develop tensions in a minimal context, have fun and playing/improvising with the stuff ,more than making a big production.
This is a damn good release, and i enjoy so much taking it out with the headphonica crew. Thanks!
Enjoy, listen ,share it and play it loud..

IN SPANISH - FOLDOVER EP

Foldover is very broken. It exists as a small point on a huge timeline. Hate it, enjoy it, share it, stick to it, use it for a art project, make it the soundtrack to a good home cooked meal, link your memorys to it, play it in the shower, play it in the car, put it on a mixtape, get sick of it, fall in love with it, or yourself. Whatever you do...just listen [with headphones]!

TAKE CARNAGE - LIVE - CANTON, CT

P.S. I'm waiting on Michael to send me our last session before he headed back to the west coast, which was a session with two of our most trusted and respected peers in Connecticut. The session, dubbed by the three folks who were present, was described as an "ambient salsa". Our friend Andy played drums and our friend Darrel played bass [http://www.myspace.com/wrenchintheworks], I played guitar and Mike was sampling older Take Carnage sessions with his Mac. The outcome was a delightful 50 minutes of beat oriented rhythmic bliss.
